Vodka and Turkey

I survived Black Friday, which is what one would expect, and then I drowned out my sorrows in Vodka. Drunk neat, but utilizing a chaser. I've required a chaser ever since an incident where I went way overboard with my booze.

I also get to do rounds of Thanksgiving this weekend. The first round of Thanksgiving was a lot of fun, despite me being quiet due to feeling worn out. I got tons of food and got to try a desert called Pumpkin Stuff, which is delicious and wildly bad for you.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. 

Sulking

On a more personal note with this comic: my  life is fun right now. I work in retail and a grocery more specifically. That means the next two weeks mean work, work, work.

It's always better in December though, that's when I get checks with overtime.

To help myself though, I got Red Fang's Whales and Leeches and Baroness's Yellow and Green. I am a fan of Red Fang, but I'm still pretty new with Baroness. Though, so far, I like Baroness quite a lot. I need to give Whales and Leeches a few more listens, but it seems to me like Murder the Mountains might have been better.

I also purchased recently the Untold History of the United States on Blu Ray. I've been waiting a whole year to see it.

Also, I'm writing a "half season" of Geek Force, because writing is my passion and therefore the writing on Geek Force far outstrips the comics made. I'm really excited about this one, which usually means everyone else won't dig it quite as much.

I'm about two thirds of the way through it with three weeks left to go, and I'm feeling the burn at this point.

Con Nachzehrer Issue 9

Here is Issue 9. I'm excited about the next few weeks of issues because they don't involve creating any new sets or characters. This issue features more artwork which will feature in the pending Geek Force Reboot albeit with a different color scheme.

I tried to make the bus dull and designed to sap the kids' happiness, but I think I took it too far. Also, I would have loved to have transparent windows that show neighborhoods and the city, but I don't have the money to buy that many 3D models.
