This is basically my understanding of evolution, rather than this "humanity comes from monkeys" nonsense. We know that freak mutations occur. Like the octobaby. Other things like that. We know that these things can pass along to children, and we know if someone has a good mutation they could live long and have plenty of offspring.
It's all about sex. It seems easier than people make it.
